Preparing for Your Sugaring Body Treatment –
- For hairs to be removed comfortably - and have longer lasting effects - hair growth should not be less than ¼ inch in length. Shorter hair growth can be removed however it tends to grow back sooner and may take more time to remove.
- If your hair does need to be trimmed your Alexandria Professional will trim it for you prior to your sugaring treatment.
- Please avoid all chemical irritant products such as antiperspirants, perfumes and sun-tanning activities for 24-hours prior to your sugaring treatment.
- Please do not exfoliate body areas to be sugared for 24-hours prior to your sugaring treatment
During Your Sugaring Treatment:
- After your paste sugaring treatment is performed, your therapist will apply a “Mud Puddle” treatment which is an all-natural Hungarian mud, rich in essential minerals and collagen.
- The mask will then dry allowing for the perfect treatment to calm your pores where hair has been removed..
- The end of your treatment will be followed by “Phenomen-all” a Skin Repair treatment formulated to repair, refresh and rejuvenate skin. It is a #1 seller for treating ingrown hair and skin issues.
After Your Sugaring Body Treatment –
- Do not apply deodorant to underarms or apply non-mineral makeup to facial areas for 12-hours after a sugaring treatment.
- You should avoid the use of perfumed soap, products with chemical irritants or sun-tanning activities, no hot tubs and no exfoliation for 24-hours.
- You will be informed on what to do to care for any in-grown hairs or sensitivities you may have.

Hair removal is not for those who are using certain medications or have irritated skin (sunburn, windburned, rashes, laser procedures, deep chemical peels etc.). If you are more sensitive during your menstrual cycle, you may want to defer your appointment. Do not use a razor or depilatory creams between appointments as it will interfere with your sugaring.
